Main Hall

The main hall has a vaulted ceiling fitted with acoustic panels designed and provided by Ecophon for excellent sound; perfect for choral and stage performances and practice. Lighting is provided by multiple spotlights and skylights in the ceiling. There are expansive glass doors to both sides, and easy access to the kitchen and the entrance hall. Solar panels on the roof are capable of powering the entire hall and give back excess electricity to the grid. AN air source heat pump provides the hall with underfloor heating throughout.

The main hall is approximately 12m x 8m of floor space. There are plenty of power points and free ultra-fast WiFi is available.

Kitchen

The kitchen contains brand new appliances. There is a large sink, a dishwasher, kettles, an electric oven and four burner hob, two fridges, and a freezer.

There are twenty sets of cutlery, crockery, mugs, cups and saucers, as well as a selection of kitchen utensils, jugs and bowls available in the kitchen as standard. More cutlery and crockery is available to hire if needed.

Capacity

Ramsdell Village Hall has a maximum capacity of 150 in the main hall. There is plenty of space for tables and comfortable seating for approximately 100 people. There are trestle tables and chairs available as standard.

Outside

There is off-road parking available to the front of the hall. There are 28 designated spaces and a marked disabled bay. The front of the hall has a stone patio with step free access to both the main hall and the entrance hall. Ramsdell Village Hall is situated in the heart of the village.

There are wonderful views of Christ Church Ramsdell. There is a feature picture window in the end wall of the hall that has lovely views, especially at sunset.

Additional Features

Individual toilets each with their own basin including a disabled
toilet with baby changing facilities.

Tables and chairs can also be hired for use away from the Village
Hall. There are currently 14 trestle tables and 60 chairs available for
external hire (priced individually and available to book using our
online booking system).

All music must finish by 11.30pm and the hall vacated by 12pm

Playing of music and consumption of alcohol is covered in the hire of the hall. Any hirer wishing to sell alochol must apply for a Temporary Event Notice from Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council.

The hall has been designed for the community and all the activities and events people may wish to participate in. From weddings to knitting clubs, pilates classes to amateur dramatics, the Ramsdell Village Hall is here, ready and waiting for you to enjoy.
